That's a very selfish of you to suggest.
I mean everyone needs to be able to see everything SE is planning with the game. Or else how would they know if they want to come back or not? I'm so sick of everyone wanting "special benefits" for paying.

I have to agree that this is a bad idea. This just wouldn't be feasible as a large amount of public news redirects you from the Lodestone to the forums. It would mean SE restructuring their news flow, which would be a waste of resources, atm.

If anything, the forums need to be less restrictive. The Support section really needs to be open to everyone (not just those with active accounts). Otherwise, the "tons of people complaining about payment issues" will have no support resource other than contacting SE directly if they have problems setting up their account. Getting answers from the forums would take a fraction of the time.

If you're looking for an exclusive community, the place to find that is through a third-party community site or your linkshell site. Official game forums are not such a place.

Besides, you're already getting an exclusive mount perk.
