Log in to see forums!? <Can I have it?>

As we all know payment has started, with that, there are tons of people complaining about payment issues(don't know how people mess up on that). What I would like to see done now is, can you make it where we have to log in to SEE the forums now. Now now don't go raging yet guys, let me finish. In alpha the only people that were allowed to see the forums were the people IN the game. This would allow behind secret stuff that you wouldn't show to the public! I guess, I would like to see info about the game that no one else could, because, well, you know, I'm paying now. Then just post the really big info on the loadstone like normal.

Stuff like the weapon skills, male miquote, stuff like that, ya know. Till the patch is released, but more often!

Also, can we get auto translate dictionary on the forums as well?

I mean everyone needs to be able to see everything SE is planning with the game. Or else how would they know if they want to come back or not? I'm so sick of everyone wanting "special benefits" for paying.

I have to agree that this is a bad idea. This just wouldn't be feasible as a large amount of public news redirects you from the Lodestone to the forums. It would mean SE restructuring their news flow, which would be a waste of resources, atm.

If anything, the forums need to be less restrictive. The Support section really needs to be open to everyone (not just those with active accounts). Otherwise, the "tons of people complaining about payment issues" will have no support resource other than contacting SE directly if they have problems setting up their account. Getting answers from the forums would take a fraction of the time.

If you're looking for an exclusive community, the place to find that is through a third-party community site or your linkshell site. Official game forums are not such a place.

Besides, you're already getting an exclusive mount perk.

I just wish they would block all the f'n trolls who aren't paying and think they all need their own individual post about it and a goddamn 30 page rant. The forums over the past month seem to be less and less like constructive criticism and more about people complaining about 9 dollars.

Realistically though...if you paid for the game, I think you have the right to use the official forums, inactive or no.

This is the last thing SE would want to do when their main goal is to get non-subscribers hyped up for the game.

As for the person complaining about trolls + people complaining about money... The people who aren't paying can no longer post on the forums (I can confirm this firsthand), so that should take care of a majority of those issues.

O_o?! Very strange. I tried to view the forums Friday morning and got a message that said "Your account has been temporarily suspended and you are now being logged out". The account was suspended because I didn't fill out my billing. I refreshed the page and I was logged out. I... guess I didn't try to log back in. /shrug
