Blank partitions are kind of disappointing

I was super pumped to replace my "dyed kinda like the wallpaper?" white partitions with blank partitions to finally have some cohesion in my home, but uh... the implementation isn't great.

The blank partitions being an interactive item creates a whole slew of problems. There's the cap on visible interactive items, which has resulted in walls straight up disappearing. If you manage to avoid that, you still have ghastly rows of walls with arrows pointing all over the place. Especially if you decorate them with paintings, lights, etc.

I do not want a house full of arrows.

They would be a billion times better if the dye menu was cloned for wallpapers - this is honestly what I was hoping for. Select the partition from the housing menu, go through the list of wallpapers, select what you have available and apply!

A more crude selection could be just crafting them with the wallpaper as an ingredient, but that's a lot of work and I don't wanna.

Please look into a more elegant solution for these partitions.




And then give us versions with doors.

To get rid of your arrows do the following:
go to Character configuration -> display name settings -> NPC's -> Housing Furniture -> then change it to when targeted. Now the arrows will be gone!

Other people don't see them by default but the settings only change your view, it doesn't affect any fc members / roommates, but it's not limited to your house but any house you would see the arrows in

I hate this, I hate this so much. Just because I enjoy decorating my FC mansion with food items, the aquarium and armoire also disappears unless I walk near them. It's so aggravating. Why does this even happen, I'm on a high-powered PC and we're in 2017, for godssakes.

This is still a problem. For someone who owns a mansion it is heavily impacting on the amount of other items i can have. For example lights will vanish on the top floor whilst i am there because it's trying to accommodate for what's on the bottom floor which isn't even in my view.
I was super excited to put up walls but it is an impossible addition for me, knowing half my other furniture will vanish/be hidden from display unless i'm literally ontop of it.

Yeah I was excited for the new partitions until I saw that they are interactive. The stupid culling thing needs to go. We don't all run on a potato PC, SE. At least make it an option to turn that stupid crap off.

Tenants (or FC members in an FC house) will still see them.

For the Blank Partitions, I appreciate that they gave us something, but it could be a lot better. Much like the Estate Light settings.
