Inventory issues still exist. Why keep adding gear to the game and not room? Glam log

especially given that we can put quite a few of the sets in the Armoire o_o.

There's quite a few things you can put in the armoire but biggest offenders that STOP me from placing stuff in the armoire are these two facts:

• Augmented gear cannot be placed in the armoire.
• Any dyes are removed from said gear.

If I need to craft or grind for the gear, and it cannot be placed in some form of storage besides retainers, I will be holding onto it, especially when I've dyed it something like Jet Black or Pure White which go upwards of 1m+ Gil on my server.

If they make it so the dyes are no longer on a consumable system and are instead unlocked and can be used indefinitely, it would open up a lot more breathing room for myself as I can then put a lot of gear back into the armoire, but that's just me. I know people who are functional with putting away gear that's dyed with a rare dye with no qualms, I could never do that. xD

I myself also have 8 retainers, of which 6 are glamour, but I don't complain about the inventory as my inventory is usually hovering around 70-90 out of 140 slots free. I only have one retainer with crafting materials, and last one for materia, who used to be housing but now that we have the storeroom, he's got more space now.

That's a fair point Erryk but it would take a lot of golden dyes to fill 8 retainers and that makes my wallet quiver, haha. They are around the same price on my server too, give or take.
I do like the idea if they could make it so that you could store your gear while they had dye applied to them, it could perhaps open up some more breathing space.
We have been given a lot of excellent methods to store, hopefully more for the future but I am highly sure that SE considers this when they impliment new features or materials (Your previously mentioned storeroom comment for example) :-)

And Snow, that is my own personal choice to create a small army of crafters, it's not mandatory since you can switch your crafting specialists if you wanted to on a weekly basis using Scrips. I just personally prefer to keep certain characters to certain specs, especially since I also have desynth very high on a lot of them and it goes hand in hand with the respectable specialists. :-)

OP, please stop, you are a hoarder, so am I. The principle of improving inventory management is very valid and one that I want addressed very much, however your attitude in this thread is appalling and is detrimental to those of us that want what you are asking for.

Listen to those that disagree, alter your argument if necessary, and counter with valid points. What you are doing is crying foul, and acting like an entitled child and you are handling this thread extremely poorly.

If the last thing I said works for 4.0+ then what seems to be the issue? I feel you can easily do it with one character and could before. Time gating doesn't really alter that. :-P
