Inventory issues still exist. Why keep adding gear to the game and not room? Glam log

Oook. Wow. I've only read up to page 12 so far, but this is ridiculous. OP's constant and rather annoying habit of lodestone checking EVERYONE who disagrees with them is petty and tedious at best...but hey go ahead and search mine while you're at it.

I have to admit I'm in awe....people claim they have EIGHT retainers and still run out of space...and claim it's from crafting? Gonna call that out as false right now. I have every crafting and gathering class at 70, and spend well over 3/4 my time in game doing both. It's my main passion in this game. I have eight retainers as well...but not for storage. I send them on ventures to hunt while I go out and mine/chop/fish. Of my 8 retainers, three of them are full. One of those is full of ventures (which now that I think of it, I need to convert). One is half full of materia, the other half has level 61-70 crafting materials. The last one has glamour/old heavensward materials that I've honestly been too lazy to clean out. So....minus the one full of ventures and old heavensward materials...I've got one retainer full with another one at half...and I'm a prolific omnicrafter/gatherer.

Oh, and before you nitpick, I also have a house, so yes I craft those materials as well.

Frankly, I highly, HIGHLY doubt that even 3 retainers are full of materials. I can almost guarantee that the vast majority of the space taken up is due to....glamour. Which is absolutely ridiculous. The only glamour items I keep are those of high value and/or rarity, such as ex weapons, raid gear, ect. Everything else that can easily be crafted/found again? Toss. I'm not seeing the problem here....then again I don't change glamour every hour, so maybe that's just me.

Sorry, but you just aren't listening to what I am saying.

My definition of omnicrafter is simply you have all crafts at 70. The majority of the recipes do not need specialist so simply put Ican craft 95% of the items from every crafter type on one character.

That is not what an omicrafter is, anyone can get crafting levels to max level, it is easy because of leaves. Just because someone has them at 70 does not mean they use them like I do or go though tons of different materials like I do. I craft an awful lot, and I know I am an outlier because of it. Also the spec synths are the inventory eaters, as said I done favors for people that required 4 trades because they take sooo many items. Having max level and crafting causally is way different to the scale of crafting what I do, and the inventory I need to keep up + glams.

After reading through 16 pages I can certainly say that this is not the case....

Stating the truth =/= insults

A select few> you are a hoarder and keep throw away materials < this is the insult

What would the point be? you know what you are talking about. Anyways I was talking about more of the lack of on hand inventory and needing to keep exchanging with retainers and such, waste of time. Now that i think about it, that suggestion let us craft from our retainer's inventory sounds more appealing. But yes it is mostly glam gear, I stated that, and when you have a rare dye on the base, you simply do not store it in the armour because it destroys the dye.

Need a glam log and expanded currency tab, that is all, I shouldn't be paying all this money for retainers. Being harassed over that fact is not acceptable (not directed to you, just talking about others) I am not the issue here, I shouldn't have been insulted in the first place because the game does not give enough space.

6 retainers are glam, 1 retainer is currency (since 4.1 this is gonna be some crafting overflow, note some, there isn't enough room to put everything I like to in it) , 1 retainer is crafting mats + my full inventory is crafting mats. I would like 3-4 retainers be for crafting mats to split between types but.. no room for that.

eso has 1 hell eso lets you dye 6 ish items 3 colors each anyway you wish, and you don't need to keep buying dye just unlock the achievement.

Ahh if only it were that easy.

One of my glamour/transmog sets from Warcraft had gear from it across 3 expansions. You'd be surprised what that pair of gloves you have in your bag might look good on later down the line.
