you bought crysta, but did you change to crysta payment? you most likely forgot

you paid for 6 months im guessing? cuz thats what 48 is for 1 character. So, I also had to pay $48 on click and buy for 6 months, WHICH, was suppose to be around $28. I will be calling customer support as well. I'm tired of mistake after mistake, and we as players keep getting told just wait till it gets better. I honestly, feel after saying that billing would be put into service now for over 2 months, they would have this change over handled at a reasonable level without any pain. AND it looks like I was totally wrong....

go to the paytment options and read everything, 4.99 a month for 6 months is the "service fee" before the 3 dollar character fee, which brings you to 7.99 a month.
9.99 is the month to month option
yours isnt an SE mistake its a you failing to read mistake, seriously, go back and read the payment options

Yes, I selected crysta since this is how I originally purchased the 10,000 Crysta balance in 2010. I already had a click n' buy account set up to credit my account with additional Crysta when it was necessary to top up, but since I already had a balance on hand that's where it should have been taken from and not a secondary charge to my credit card. The problem is that the system is convoluted. Crysta should have been abolished prior to the restart of billing and any balances of Crysta should have been converted into the cash equivalent. Unfortunately, SE is slow to catch on to how this would confuse people if they've already got a balance on their account.
I can bet that 99% of billing problems are this or people clicking the wrong thing, when it comes to taking money a system has to be up to scratch or you will be facing huge refund costs or even (in exteme circumstances) lawsuits, which no company wants.you paid for 6 months im guessing? cuz thats what 48 is for 1 character.

yeah, i know i had a problem this morning too, but instead of whining about it, i researched it, and wala, it was my fault
my payments were being declined cuz i had an out of date credit card on file lol
in the end one thing i would suggest to those with the "mutiple accounts with wrong one active" situation
when you contact SE, ask them if you delete the one you dont want if the other will be able to become the active account correctly without a "rebilling" they should be able to do this for you at the least since you wont be using 2 at the same time and being billed for 1 and so on.

it would have been so much easier if se had just put up the monthly fee and the cost of 1 char as a bundle price. instead of them saying 6.99 monthly fee they could have easily stated 9.99 for the fee with 1 character and then 3 for each additional. it seems alot of people didn't realize the fee did not include the first character even though they stated it didn't if you had read it. alot of people were convinced that the fee would include 1 character though because why would you pay a fee for something you can't actively do?
long story short, you are correct, and the 48 is the fees with the character slot for one active character and it was a member mistake and not a se mistake this time.

didn't answer the question, again, Did you set your Payment method, as in telling SE where to withdraw, as crysta? if you did not have it set as crysta, it would go to your click and buy because that would be the only thing set up with information as you said just said
reread the first sentence. the question was answered.

Yes, that is what I'm saying, to answer your question. Three weeks ago when they originally announced that we could log in and reactivate our billing, I selected Crysta. SE CS agents even confirmed this after five calls to them.
