    Workshop Issues? Lots of Misinformation

Good day everyone, I have a question about workshops.

Recently we unlocked ours and began an ambitious housing project. However, we have nobody of the prerequisite level in our FC to add some parts to the project. We had some sources claim that an outsider who is of the level to help can join and add to the project, however we've had this met with failure (they couldn't see the console to add materials).

This flies in the face of what many are saying. Some are swearing black and blue that it IS possible, whereas others say it's not. Is it possible to have an outsider to the FC help you with your project? And if so, are there any options that need to be checked or some such to make it so? Asking for clear and definitive answers to the question, as there is such discrepancy between facts here.

You just need to be in a party of all crafting classes. Just 4 people in the workshop at the same time on any level of crafters.

We tried that, no good. The high crafter couldn't access our FC's computer

Ah, so the FC member has to be the one with the levels. That's... disappointing. But thank you for your answer.

They're talking about handing items in to the manufacturing console. Yes they can be just level 1 if they're only there for the 4 person requirement, but whoever is handing in the items must be a member of the FC and have the required crafting level for the item they're handing in.

The person has to be both an FC member with the appropriate permissions and the appropriate class level for turn-in. Outsiders can only be used to fill the party pre-requisite slots needed for progress/completion stages (when everything for a stage is done being turned in).
