What if light parties had 3 DPS instead of two?

tanks pulling more than a healer can heal....

This is why they put in artificial blocks, there are very few pulls nowadays a healer cannot heal through unless they are undergeared or just plain underskilled. Whoops happen but if you are constantly having issues of not being able to heal through pulls it doesn't sound like a tank issue. 99.9% of dungeons I pug have large to maximum pulls which the healers handle with ease, sometimes even dpsing during. If it is a skill or gear issue, talk to your tank and request smaller pulls, read your tool tips and learn how to utilize your abilities instead of placing blame on someone else.
