Something wrong with sheep?

I was trying to farm some karakul fleece from brutal sheep, and they arent dropping anything but crystals. Now I know it's a crappy drop rate, but I'm not even getting mutton loin, gyasl greens or flax either.

Anyone know what's up?

maybe they have sheded and are waiting to grow in their winter coat still.

Drop rate is just pretty low in general. Spent about two hours farming non stop the other night and got a whopping 20 fleece.

Not sure how to level my weaver now as black fleece run about 5k a piece on Rabanastre.

This may not be too relevant, but when I was trying to farm bomb ashes off some Level 23~26 enemies, they scarcely dropped anything when using a 50 Marauder. No shards, crystals, and maybe three ash after making two passes.

Switched to 32 Gladiator and they dropped shards, bomb ashes, bomb arms, and other stuff.

Thinking about sheep, so it worries me too.

It isn't a crappy droprate if you kill them all together when they pop. I'd say it's right around 15% so one fleece per group. Considering they pop once every 30 seconds it can be okay.

if you one shot something it wont drop sometimes it seems. make sure you claim it with something then kill it.

thats a good point, did the sheep that drop fleece quit and get replaced with paying sheep who no longer drop it?

Did you take the moon into account also you have to /dance with the mob before you will get drops.

Sorry had to put that one in there before I get kicked for not paying (but I will on mon, so i'm not trolling the game) we need to get these rumours to the ps3 crowd when they start and laugh at them all /dancing with the mobs there farming
