Hi Guys,

I really want to post this on the Group JP, unfortunately it was restricted for some reason.

I'm currently playing this game on EU data center, and lately I found the time zone difference sucks, like seriously..

So, I really want to transfer to another data center probably JP, but I don't want to end up playing by myself in the non-english speaking community..

My questions are:
1. Will the JP Data Center have a Server Time of GMT+9??
2. I want to know which world has many English speaking players?

Please help me out!

I believe Tonberry is the server of choice for Australian players, followed by Tiamat. That info is a few years old though so I'm unsure whether it still applies.

Tonberry is congested 99% of the time. Masamune and Kujata are the other choices that you may try.

I'd probably go Kujata over Masamune, it's in a different datacenter to Tonberry which has the largest English speaking population.

Just make sure you pick a server in the same group as Tonberry and you can share the same Party Finder and Duty Finder queues. That will make it easy for you to play with other SEA/Oceanic members and they're rapidly increasing the number of activities you can perform with people in the same group even if you're on different servers.

Avoid the Gaia server group; we don't have many English-speakers at all in comparison to the other groups and anyone who transfers here without Japanese skills or a group of friends ends up struggling to clear content. Take advantage of what the Tonberry players have built.

If you have time, you can make an alt on your chosen server in advance to scout things out before moving over. Shouting isn't well-received in JP servers so rushing to unlock Party Finder might be the quickest way to get a feel for the community. I believe Aegis is currenty a preferred world, so that might be a good one to try as you'll be given bonuses for playing there.

Tonberry is locked. Your best bet would be Kujata followed by Typhon. Both servers saw an increase in EN players since Tonberry was locked and both of those servers received bonuses.

I've looked through the old post in the forum to try similar thread, and it's true that Tonberry has a big group of EN players, and SecretCrowds is correct that it's impossible to move to that server because of the congested status.

I agree that as long as the group is the same there won't be a problem for duty finder,etc.. But I don't want to be the the lonely soul in a JP server not having friends or FC to chat with.. Any recommended world in the same group as Tonberry with decent EN players/ FC??

Since tonberry is closed.. my friends play on atmos server.. they are sea players and can speak english well.. you shoukd give it a try..

Come to Kujata. Our english base has increased with Stormblood and a lot of the english FCs are recruiting. Including Phoenix Rising <Rise>
