FC Credits?

What are some good ways for a newbie to help gain some credits for their FC. Our FC was recently the victim of one of our members using up most of ours for himself and then ditching us immediately after. I want to help as much as I can to make up for what we lost since there's not much we can do to get back what he took. I tried looking up some stuff online but a lot of it seems pretty dated.

I don't know all the good ways, but I know crafting (both doing the crafting itself and particularly the GC turn-ins for it) can bring in a lot of points.

And it's likely that whatever old info you found is still valid, as I don't think there have been significant changes to it, at least not that I've heard. At most, some additional ways might have been added, but it doesn't negate the older methods.

(And as a rule of thumb, whatever earns you experience or GC seals will generally earn your FC some credits as well. So as long as you're doing stuff more active than hanging out and chatting, you're going to be contributing, it's just a matter of how much and how quickly.)

Okay cool! Guess it's not bad I started working on crafting after all lol. Plus I have been doing a few GC turn ins the in the last week, so I guess between that and story/dungeons I'll just keep doing what I've been doing

Depending on your character level, Doing the gc turn ins with dungeon gear will really help increase the fc seals. The ex dungeons give 1300 gc seals per piece of gear. And I think you get 10 or 15% of that into fc seals

That's great to know too! Hopefully I can catch up quickly so I can get to the higher-level dungeons. Right now I'm only just getting to the lv. 60 3.0 content, so I have a ways to go yet. But I can make do for now.

So are FC thefts common? I'd heard of it happening, but didn't really expect to see it first-hand...

Thefts arent common. But they arent exactly super-rare either. Some people are just scum. FCs have to be a little careful who they give authority to, and if it still happens you warn your friends in other FCs about this player. If you have them blacklisted and they use the name change potion, your BL will update to their new name(friends list does this too).

Okay, yeah hopefully this kind of thing doesn't happen again. Ours is a smaller FC, so I'm guessing he probably saw us as an easy target... I appreciate everyone's input though!
