    BRD level 60 4.0 new rotation anyone?!

    Just started to try leveling up my brd to reach 70, I looked and looked on the web for the new rotation all I find is the level 70 one, is brd rotation at level 60 never changed? cause some actions were removed or updated, I will truly appreciate your help.

    Honestly...why would anyone bother writing a 60 guide now? Straight Shot into Mages for AOE or Wanderers for ST.

    I'm by no means a good BRD, but at least stuff dies!

    This is the opener I use at 60, it's a variation of one of the openers from the 4.x Bard guide found here.

    The way I see it, BRD is less about having a solid rotation and more about a priority system. Start with Foe's Requiem and try to keep it up as often as possible whenever your MP is full or almost full, keep Straight Shot up at all times and prioritize Wanderer's Minuet for single-target and Mages' Ballad for AoE. Barrage + Empyreal Arrow is the hardest hitting skill in your arsenal until Refulgent Arrow at 70. Trying to snapshot Raging Strikes onto your DoTs with Iron Jaws is also probably a good idea.

    Looking through the differences between level 60 to 70, there isn't too much that changes. The major things noticed is the level 68 trait Enhanced Empyreal Arrow and the level 70 Weaponskill Refulgent Arrow missing. Your 2 DoTs also upgrade at level 64, but they are still used exactly the same way with applying them and refreshing with Iron Jaw. Overall, you will not be able to proc a song buff with Empyreal Arrow (eg. the cooldown reset on Bloodletter / Rain of Death with Mage's Ballad) until 68 and your Straighter Shot procs will only be usable on Straight Shot until level 70.

    The main difference is the target cap pre-64 for spamming Quick Nock over DoTs is 4 rather than 6 (their duration and initial potency almost doubles). You still want 4~5 DoTs rolling in WM/Ballad for procs, and 1~2 in Paeon, but otherwise, Quick Nock spam if there's enough mobs.
