Just curious, not really a problem, but still curious.
Quest rewards have always prepared us for dungeon content. In 2.0, quest rewards were crafted NQ, in 3.0 they were crafted HQ, and 4.0 again crafted HQ. Although there have been another minor change in how the rewards are distributed.
In 2.0, you get every piece of the "batch" before you enter the dungeon.
In 3.0, certain pieces would be missing, specifically the accessories, presumably to create a crafting market, although there was no such effect because people just went in the dungeons anyway without updating the missing pieces.
In 4.0, there are no longer missing pieces, but strangely, there will always be a few major pieces (specifically chest, legs and weapons) that are only given after the dungeon content.
Is there a reason for this?
As I said in the beginning, it's not a problem but I'm still curious. It does feel "incomplete" when I know those pieces are there and I can make good use of those in this dungeon I'm going into, but I need to have completed the dungeon to get those pieces.
I actually wouldn't mind a more active leveling gear market, but it's probably not possible to maintain without a buy'ers market board, i.e., one where buyers issue Purchase Orders which crafters can claim and complete the transaction via the market board.
