Player opinion request: When do you think they will re-open transfers to Omega/why?

Whatever it was, I heard that was a big reason why people changed server. Whether it actually worked or not, I don't know, but a lot of people said they did just that to "fix" the instance issue.

Yeah, I had a few people from Moogle who joined us on Omega because of it, assuming it would be less crowded and therefore a shorter queue. And..well..it was, but it was still massive.

I decided to make a reddit threat about it, but it ended up more like a whiny rant. I don't really think it will go very far, but hey, worth a try when we're already at this point with this whole server-lock situation.

Are you sure we are talking about the same server? Omega is basically anything but quiet.

And actually I've seen Limsa quiet during peak hours too, but I guess a lot of those (fake) RP people are using LS's too? Maybe better that way actually now I think of it.


Anyway, I'm originally from Moogle and I used the free transfer to Omega during SB launch. It was really great in the beginning though, a lot of people everywhere and loads of activity but right now it's just depressingly quiet. If I wouldn't had a house I would have transferred to another server already.
I just hope they will open up Omega again and give boosts for people to choose this server again.

Omega used to be so full of life and there would be all these popular and well known names.
Now its bare and quiet on the peak times included.. and a lot of those names transferred off a while ago. :/
It feels like square is slowly killing Omega and everyday I question why I stay on there.
The most activity I see now are all the bots teleporting around.

Well, I definitely haven't experienced any desolation like that, but I have heard people complaining that the high level players are dropping off to other servers, leaving longer queues for those who are staying.

Doesn't really matter for most stuff because DF is cross world.

Maybe you have a closed FC with a good group of inner circle to combat that desolation feeling. But for people without FC and/or friends it's really empty. And not easy to make new ones either.
