Yeah, I've barely noticed the roleplayers on Omega. (Strolls in Limsa around midnight withstanding) But everyone seems to be afraid of them as though it's contagious, hah. Be sure to link the thread if you post one, I'll add my complaints to it too. It's not guaranteed to succeed, and I'm certain that even mentioning roleplay would be a death sentence for the thread in terms of downvotes. I suppose waiting one more side patch won't hurt, but if it won't even open up by then, I'll make a thread about it on Reddit. If no one makes it before me.
It's definitely around. Like the Omega RP Discord is full of people talking about things and posting their events. They more or less go all around the game world, plus the housing areas. But it's not as much as free-roam random roleplay, sadly. You have to keep track of what people come up with and where they are gathering.
But it exists.
Roleplayers just have this stigma around them, which these other players ridicule them for (just like how non-gamer people ridicule those players for playing a game with cat girls in them, so it's kind of hypocritical.)
I tried making a reddit thread but it didn't work out.
I'd have kept it up if it got at least one positive response but my anxiety and the other responses made me lose my bottle.

Though judging by the replies I've gotten so far, they're telling us to stick to these forums.
Can't find the thread, would've added a reply to it witha more positive message than those jerks.![]()
Aaa thank you! ;^;
I appreciate the thought nonetheless.

I've transferred to Omega the second day it was here.
Omega was really nice in the beginning, but right now it just kind of feels almost empty.
Also Kugane & Shirogane are ghost towns. I own a house but 90% of the times there is nobody around and/or using the chat.
Almost no FC's recruiting anymore (not the meaningful ones anyhow) and just always the same people you see running around.
As soon as the 90 days lock was gone everybody and their mothers transferred away from Omega (Not even sure why?).
They should remove the restriction and let new people come here, right now Omega feels like a ghostown and most of the times I'm just walking around aimlessly, and just isn't fun anymore.
Because players tried to bypass a bug in the MSQ when Stormblood had just released so they could continue to level up quickly. Since Omega was free transfer, they jumped on to it.
But many of them forgot that there was a 90 day lockout on it, and when it was lifted, they went back to their old home servers.

If you're talking about Raubaugh ultimate savage, that's not a bug, just an instancing issue with too much people. That was the same on all servers what I heard from it. Luckily it never affected me.Because players tried to bypass a bug in the MSQ when Stormblood had just released so they could continue to level up quickly. Since Omega was free transfer, they jumped on to it.
But many of them forgot that there was a 90 day lockout on it, and when it was lifted, they went back to their old home servers.
Whatever it was, I heard that was a big reason why people changed server. Whether it actually worked or not, I don't know, but a lot of people said they did just that to "fix" the instance issue.
