In Regard to Housing in Patch 4.1

I agree with the one house per account. But I hope that it doesn't stop people from relocating cause I wanted to get a medium house in shiganie but had to settle for a small since all the mediums were bought up on my server.

Stop saying restrict larges to FC only. Everyone should be able to get a house without competing with other people and it should be whatever size they want.

What if SE just has a sign-up list where everyone who wants a house signs up & pays for the full price of the house up front (so you know they're serious about it). If you sign-up you're guaranteed a house of that size when the new wards come out. Then SE will be able to fully calculate demand and allow everyone who missed out in 4.1 to purchase a new house.

This. It would be silly to do this. One house / person is plenty enough for any purpose though.
Then again if they just add enough wards, there will be no vultures - because it won't be worth it.

The fact that's even a potential arguing point already implies such a measure is doomed to fail. Not only does it reveal shortcomings, but it also reinforces the fact that there just won't be enough. Let's hope that's not what they think is a worthwhile plan... because wow. I mean, I half-jokingly mock their inept execution of many things, but it's just going to end up being serious mockings at that point... that's a pretty disheartening reality if it came to that.

I've read through a bunch of pages now and I've seen some ideas I like.

-Letting all alts have acsess to the house in case of 1 plot per account per server.
-Giving priority to FCs in some way.
-Having a random time window between relinquishing a plot and when it's back on the market.
-A system for selling plots player to player with a fixed sell price. And option to give the plot away.
-Allow for more tennants and make them prevent demolition.
-Private mini islands sound like a fun idea.

-Also, about being able to upgrade your house size. You could upgrade your house to only be bigger on the inside but look the same on the outside. Keep whatever restrictions you deem nessesary when it comes to items you can place and such. Sometimes you just want more space. Maybe S plots would increase in popularity. Who wouldn't want a Tardis house?

Really appreciate you trying to come up with a solution Team YoshiP. And I hope our FC will be able to relocate come next patch

If we're gonna make it so that "every" FC gets their own house we're gonna have to have at least TEN more wards. And that's being super generous and underestimated. Thirty sounds more realistic.

Or else it's gonna be like release 4.1 all over again...

I've gotta say that one thing I love about this game, compared to most other MMORPGs I've played, is that the developers actually not only listen to, but also respond to, the community.

The housing crisis could of been solved via the RAID SYSTEM & MSQ Duty.

All you had to have do was do this.

During 24 player raids.
A housing "House Purchasing Slip" has a 5% chance to drop.

Small houses need : 1 Purchasing Slips
Medium houses need : 2 Purchasing Slips
Large houses need : 3 Purchasing Slips

There is only 1 of them that will appear for completing the Last boss of any 24 player raid we made.
This is the only way to buy a "PLOT" of land on your "SERVERS"

Not just the new raids.
If the raid is UNDERSIZED/UNSYNCED it will never drop.

This would of brought life back into the "24 player Raiding System"
Also you could of added a new item called 2 month "DEED PAYMENT SLIP"

Players who don't earn their deed payment slips will have their property taken as a AUDIT.
This new "SLIP has a 2% chance of dropping in Main Story Quest Duty" and can be traded on Market.
If you don't turn in a slip by the "REQUIRED DEADLINE" you might lose your current property.

Be forewarned, we will start cycling properties if you don't "ROLEPLAY PAYING YOUR BILLS, MORTGAGE, and TAXES"
