What? Have you not been paying attention? Thats exactly the problem. People want them but since they are finite they can't get them. Otherwise you are saying there is 100% enough houses to go around for people "who really wanted" them which isn't the case. FYI people can "really want them" without having the means to pay for them from a house flipper or checking the districts every hour, on the hour for most of the day. That's like saying if people really didn't want to have cancer they would just find a cure. Wow, really? You're comparing obtaining a virtual house in an MMO video game vs. one of the worst diseases in the history of the human race, if not the worst? And you think I am far removed from the situation? If you have the gil, buy a house, it IS that simple. If you don't have the gil, then you probably shouldn't be complaining about housing. But hey, what do I know, apparently this problem is as big as cancer.

Okay we get it, you like how exclusive housing is because you have one. Congrats on grinding so hard btw, nobody has ever grinded for gil as hard as you. 4-5 hours a day for months? how did you even manage!!! I still stand by what I said earlier, SE please let Abelfei be the one to distribute housing in the future.

It makes me laugh when people think that those who got a house are hackers or rmt buyers or reselling lords. Yeah, I’m sure that’s the type of people who bought it... definitely not legit players that got lucky in queues. Whatever helps fuel the bitterness I guess.

What worries me is the response seems to indicate they will still be limited but simply handed out differently. Any auction system will still allow the super rich an advantage, be it through bidding very high or bidding on multiple plots at once. One per account, per server is more than reasonable, but I don't expect it to be done retroactively. Create any new wards where they can only be purchased if you are homeless on that server and account as well as restricting you from buying a plot on the 'regular' wards if you do.

It really comes down to this: Every subscriber is helping pay for this part of the game but no matter how much they want to many players CAN'T utilize it. Its not like high end raids or other content where they are simply opting out, players with more than enough gil to buy a plot and a house, can't. The only equivalent would be something like "Well 80 players already cleared the savage raids so no one else can play them on this server indefinitely."

This has been my point everytime someone says its not allowed to resell. I'm gonna save this post for sure lol.
I have never argued that profit is allowed but the whole reselling of a plot is and will remain the same until they change the system in 4.2 (if that even will happen).

This is my point when I say you can't resell any part of it for any gil. You can give your house to someone.You can't sell the rights to demolish your house to a possible buyer, to take their gil, then let them buy the plot outright from the placard, while you line your pockets for a few million gil This GM doesn't make sense. He contradicts himself. You can't resell the actual house on the property. The game is not designed currently for you to do so. You first need to relinquish it, turn it back into a empty plot and then walk away to turn over ownership and not after you exploit the person into paying you to so. Thank you for this nice image so I could save it and question it to support and point out what ToS actually states about exploiting a system of the game for profit.
