    Apparently a plot in Excal was sold on Reddit for over 900 million gil

    This just goes to show adding just twelve wards didn't make the housing problem better. This is one of the many issues now.

    If the OP of that Reddit thread deletes it, I've got plenty of screen caps.

    How many people have 1.1b gil??

    I really wonder how long it'll be before S-E finally gets off their hands about this...

    I can't say what's worse. This or the one guy in PF who offered 70€ via PayPal for a house.

    Edit: probably this. Looking at what the RMTs are promoting gil for, 1.1B equal roundabout 500€. And I highly doubt that those 1.1B are "handmade". Wth.

    I'm pretty sure the person who bought it probably used RMT to get the gil. One thing I've learned about people who even reaches the 999,999,999 cap in game IS they are hoarders and they like to hoard it for a trophy. NOT to just blindly give all away for a plot. So if a GM does get a wind of this they more than likely will get caught red handed and I hope they do.
