that is the point. it's supposed to be hard. if your FC wants those items, they will coordinate a time to get it made. it would also motivate more people to get high level stats on their crafting gear. another thing is, this would give something else for the FC funds to be spent on. idk how your FC handles it but when your airships go out and bring stuff back, what do you do with that? give them out? sell it? some combination of both? what do you do with the gil? well now one other thing you can do is reinvest it into your FC crafters so they can have the high stats to make more items for your FC.

It doesn't do that at all now, so it doesn't matter. And they can still work on the lower level recipes anyway just not the highest ones.

There's nothing wrong with this. All this means is the final product would cost more because the supply would be lower. People should be rewarded for leveling their crafts and being able to coordinate a group crafting session.
