Wrong character active?

I don't even want a refund, they can keep the money just let me log on with the right character.

This. It that doesn't happen, taking it up with my CC company, they'll get my money back. I've never had a problem like this before.

cant you just go into your account and deactivate the character it lets you log into and then activate the character you want?

go to your account "select service" on left side toward bottom, then pick FFXIV then click on "Options List" and you will see the characters associated with your account where you can cancel or reactivate

If only it were that easy sadly if you "cancel" one option it technically still exists until the subscription time is up for it, it just won't renew automatically. And in order to reactivate you have to pay so I would have to come out of $9 again which I really don't want to do if I can avoid it. Luckily it looks like all will be well soon though.

well its actually only 3 bucks since the service account isn't being cancelled its just the character. pain in the ass but if you are willing to loose 3 bucks just to play then it would be an option.
