You: A few weeks ago, when in order to log into the game you had to update your payment info, I chose my character on the Figaro server as the one I wanted active. When I attempted to log in this morning, a character with the same name, except wrong server, was the one active. I'm fairly certain that character was created after I made the changes to my profile. I would like the active character changed to Nightpanda Mandragoran on Figaro. I tried to do this myself, but I would be charged an additional fee.
You: Basically, the wrong character was activated. I posted on the forums to see if anyone else had this happen, and 1 person replied with the same issue.
Agent Paul Y: You need to reactivate accounts/characters yourself. We do not reactivate characters for customers. Also there is no known issue at this time concerning characters. I will escalate this issue to see if there is a problem, but at this time you will either need to wait or reactivate the character yourself (As you stated there will be a fee associated with such a reactivation.
You: What I am trying to do is get a refund on the character fee. I have no intentions of ever playing that character.
Agent Paul Y: There is no refund.
You: The character that was automatically activated is not the character I chose to activate.
Agent Paul Y: As stated we will investigate to see if such an event happened. But at this time no such "automatic reactivation" has been reported
You: Let me try to explain this better.
You: I selected character "A" as the one I wanted to pay for when billing was to start. Instead of character "A" being active this morning, character "B" was active instead. They have the EXACT same name, but on different worlds.
Agent Paul Y: As stated I completely understand what you are saying and the matter will be investigated to see if teh character was mistakenly reactivated. (No one has reported automatic reactivation as all accounts were automatically DEACTIVATED) However we will investigate your account in case a mistake was made. As such you will need to wait until our investigation is complete
