Using the Mog Station

Hi,

I just recently bought the game about a day ago and created my first character already. I wanted to purchase something from the Mog Station but I keep receiving the error i2501. I've seen a number of people who've posted about this error and it seems to be common I assume? But my question is, if I don't have a subscription yet, am I still able to use the Mog Station (Still using my free 30 days)? Looking forward to the replies.

That shouldn't matter. If you were on the Free Trial (i.e. had not purchased the game yet), then you'd be restricted from Mog Station purchases, but the 30 days you get with purchase of the game gives all the same privileges as a standard subscription.

I don't know what the problem is, though, only that that isn't it.

@Niwashi Oh there it is. Yeah it seems like it's automatic. Unfortunately I'm still getting that same error when I purchase from the Mog Station. Should I give it a couple of days before I contact SE just because this account is just barely over a day old?

You might just need to give the system some time.
I mean your character data hasn't even loaded into the loadstone yet, I can't see your character avatar.

Could be you just gotta wait.

@Niwashi Yeah I figured that wasn't the case, wouldn't make much sense. Thanks though.
@Elkanah I'll give it a few more days (or just one..). It shouldn't be the case, though I did attempt purchasing multiple times which could've triggered the block.
@Canadane Does the character avatar automatically load itself onto the forum? Might be the case since my character's barely a day old haha.

I know that those (like me) with multiple characters need to select which one to use as their forum avatar. It seems like something that would be automatic if you only have one character, but to check, click the "Settings" link at the top of the page (to the left of the logout button), then click "Edit Character" on the left hand side. See if your character shows up there yet.
