How come the MSQ battle is more funny than the extreme one? I had lot more fun doing it than the real Lakshmi battle.

Fun is subjective? The extreme version is very basic for multiple reasons - new expansion, new job mechanics, new jobs period. They were introducing difficult content to a crowd of new players.
I think it can be boiled down to this.
The fight is heavily relied on you being able to protect your friends and every job has the same capability of keeping their friends safe. There is no inequality when it comes down to it because it's the Echo that's protecting your comrades and one person turned=Game over. So there is a sense of thrill in having so much on the line from a MSQ perspective.
It's fun because it's a fresh, one-off experience.
If you had to do the fight over and over, it'd probably be about as fun as the other versions of Lakshmi.
Also your team does the stack mechanic properly in the MSQ battle.
I thought it was pretty boring myself. After the fairly intense first part, the rest of it was just 'yeah ok slowly bash through that health bar while doing mechanics with a huge delay on them'
Then again that's probably at least partially my fault for doing it as AST.
Better party than some pugs I had
