It was very real and was not like in the game. This is a fantasy game that can take concepts that work in the real world and then change them around to fit their needs. Garlemald is basically Rome, but it doesn't have to always behave /like/ Rome and follow it's real life examples to a 'T'.

Hmm... maybe I was so sensitive because When I heard of Garlemald the first time, I thought of Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan, not Rome, and that thought kept on going. I guess I maybe worrying to much about a fictional story.

Atleast you pay attention to the story.. most of my friends skip the CS when it seems to me that the story is one of the main reasons to play the game lol. But I get what you are saying and can see how that would bother you..
