Scatter asks you to keep moving if you receive a truth or standing still if lie (before the command a white mask (truth) or a blue mask (lie) appears on the screenThe final boss is absolutely disgusting trying to do if you have latency or FPS issues. Something caused my FPS to drop ridiculously low at the final boss on my latest run, and that makes it impossible to do the cursor mechanics. Really don't like it when that comes up just before his point blank AoE, either.
I still don't know what Scatter expects me to do. I've tried to keep running/stand still, and split up/group up. None of them seem consistent, since I've gotten debuffs for all of them.
It's fun but um...Hashmasual screw him...he needs a bit of a nerf.
Overall I enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed, it was quite challenging. The second boss was by far the "hardest" but..... I wouldn't say it was too difficult, it just took some understanding. Now i wish i played Tactics... :< Hope it comes to PC someday. One can dream, right?
The overall raid is fine, but I really dislike the second boss. The reason is that nearly all of his attacks feel like one hit kills and I dislike it when they do that. Stand on the wrong side for the arm or if you don't even make it all the way across, instant death. Sand sphere explodes. Instant death. Tower falls. Instant death. It just felt a little lazy on the part of the developers as the only reason why that battle is hard is because almost everything in that battle will one hit kill you for messing up the mechanic.
Yeah not a big fan of it. I prefer Void ark, weeping city and dun scath. Second boss does way too much dmg for him being the second boss is serious ramp up of inc in difficulty from the first boss. For his damage and mechanics i would have put him as third. Also not a fan of spinning finger of death. It is like playing game on the gold saucer. It has no business being a dodge mechanic.
I would rather the 'hard' boss be early on -- if you can clear #2, you can clear the rest of the raid. That said, I don't think SE did this intentionally... they probably thought the second guy would be easier..
I like it, probably my fav 24man so far. Love the second boss the most, but final boss is meh. Wish the gear looked little cooler, i understand fft style isnt super flashy tho, just thought could be a little cooler. But i look forward to the next Ivalice raid and gear![]()
