Thoughts on the new 24 man?

As a FFXII fan, I loved it. The music, the bosses.

Only got saltty over dumb pugs but after a couple tries I got my clear with no problem. First try I queued as dps and the healers were useless, dying to simples mechanics and stuff, wiping us all. Then I decided to queue u as healer. Spend over 40 raises in the run but we managed to clear. lmao

My first major raid since ARR (because I'm too afraid to do the other ones due to how some players treat newbies ;;;, and it was fun! It was the appropriate amount of difficult for lvl 70. We wiped a bunch, sure, but the mechanics were all easily explainable. You learned them after the first or second wipe, haha. It was nice to look at too. Every boss was varied. If I was more into FFT, I might've appreciated the storyline a bit more.

We only had one sour grape in our alliance who was angry we kept wiping but they left after the second boss, and the rest of us ended up having a nice time. Took maybe a little over an hour to clear. Makes me not so afraid to try other raids (maybe...)

Loved everything about it besides

Ramza's

face. The music, fights, exploration, even the trash mobs were lovely.

I hated fighting red chocobos in Final Fantasy Tactics because choco meteor hurt so hard. When I saw them in the dungeon I panicked and warned my FC that red chocobos are bad news, and they laughed at me! I was the one laughing in the end when choco meteor came out and killed them all.

The 2nd to last boss the chariot guy (I'm forgetting his name atm) was so amazing. They literately made all of Meliadoul's divine knight skills in 3D and it's so beautiful. I totally stopped to stare at the tank busters multiple times. I hope they do a boss with Agrais's moveset too, I wanna see stasis sword and holy explosion in 3D too!

The only complaint I do have is that I'm a little dissapointed in the healer gear set. I haven't seen the other body pieces yet, but I was hoping for actual class gear for healers like possibly oracle outfit? I like Orran and all but he isn't what first springs to mind when I think healer.

It does seem rather forgiving with the raises lol I dare not keep count lmfao

We actually see stasis sword/judgement blade in the last fight! Its the + marker aoe.

Nah Dont be you get the sour grape and maybe some fun trolling but no one will really give you a stick for being new everyone was new at some point!
