Game systmes not functioning properly. My game and my character are bugged.

Hello. I play the game on a PC. So far, there are two things not working properly when I am playing the game.

The first one is an issue with the Support Desk. It does not load properly. I am unable to use this feature; therefore, I cannot ask a GM for assistance in-game. The Support Desk fails to retrieve information. If it does initially load and I try to click on a topic, it will bring up blank windows instead. The windows do not load properly. There are times when the window to ask for assistance does appear, but I am unable to use it. It won't allow me to make any selections or type anything within the box for the Body.

The second issue might be linked to the first issue. Whenever I exit the game after I try to use the Support Desk, my game does not close properly. It stops responding, and I have to forcefully quit the program.

Should I try to reinstall the game? I did notice people having problems with getting the patch to work. I'm afraid of doing something to try to fix one problem will lead to a different set of problems. I would really appreciate some assistance with my issues.
