Or those who actually got a house can consolidate their posts into a single thread, given the infinitesmal percentage of the population that were lucky enough to receive one, now and before.

(Yes, I'm a little salty still, but try to be a bit understanding with the raging feelings over the housing situation, especially just after a housing release with no beneficial changes for the FFXIV community.)

Hmmm... Honestly, I did manage to get a house for myself on Balmung through normal means of freaking out, running around and clicking a plot without technical errors. But I will say as someone who is watching the aftermath of my luck vs. the misfortune of others (I am on PS4, was 206 in queue and no 90k's...was also one of the lucky few who didn't hit any error walls in Stormblood launch), something does need to be done about housing. This is the first housing drop out of ALL the years I've been playing I managed to get a house. Larges especially should be reserved for FCs or there should be FC separate housing. Like, yes I got a house this patch, but I'm not above admitting to the inherent problems of the system--I made myself sick for days thinking about the housing drop. That's...not good. Housing should be fun and something that should be looked forward to and enjoyed by everyone. I don't know how SE can fix the problem. I legitimately purchased my plot from the placard as the game was designed to be. This is my only house. I wouldn't /want/ more than this one, even on an alt. I think SE shouldn't be ignoring these complaints though...but I also wonder if even they are in a position where they don't know what to do? They can't take away the houses that people have legitimately claimed--I would be annoyed, that's for sure. But they also claim that servers don't allow for the options that people suggest. It may not be that they are ignoring everyone, but are perhaps in a situation where they're kinda in too deep to really do anything about except find ways to slowly add more.

I wish people really moved to one topic with it. I'm here to see/discuss new stuff, but I need to dig through few pages of salt every time I open this forum :/ I mean, I get it people are sad and angry, but most of those are duplicates and rants made by users who think that, for some reason, their opinion is so important it needs separate topic.

Btw. despite playing at high pop server I like current system.
