but i do agree the recruit a friend count should be opened up. only one of mine stayed subbed out of 4. so theres nothing you can do about those old accounts....

true, if you recruit 5 people but nobody stays subbed long enough you only get 25 feathers, wich is not enough for all three mounts in the first place, even without buying dyes.

A friend of mine is in this very spot right now. The ability to obtain gold feathers elsewhere or even removing the 5 person restriction on refer-a-friend would fix this easily.

It baffles me that this wasn't foreseen. I referred five people to the game, so I'm screwed as well - and I enjoy collecting as many mounts as possible.

A difficult to obtain mount is one thing, but this one seems frankly impossible for many. Not sure how this made it past review.

Did any of them subscribe for nine months or more? You only get the initial reward (the one for when they apply your code) for the first 5 friends, but I believe you can still get the 150, 210, 270 day rewards for the 6th, 7th, 8th, etc. friend that you recruit. Keep trying to find a friend who will actually subscribe long enough.

But if you've already gotten the 5 friends rewards and the 270 subscription days reward, then you're screwed.

Didn't know there was a cap on how many you can refer too. I've found a friend that wants to come back to it but he was on a different server and I don't have him on friends list so I can't even go down that route either.

Before this new mount was released the cap really didn't matter too much as everything could be obtained with plenty extra remaining. And since we had nothing to spend the extra on, many understandably wasted theirs on dye.

The cap is dumb. I assumed this campaign was over ages ago and spent my spare feathers on dye to regain the inventory slot they were using.
