I agree. The issue with this form of housing is that it will never meet the needs and demands of the playerbase. If they added two new wards today, but two hundred new players joined the game, not even a hundred of those players would get a plot. The way this particular housing system is designed, it's meant for servers that have a cap. Meaning that only a certain amount of players are allowed per server. But when you have uncapped servers and people can create as many characters as they want, instanced housing works better.
I know that a lot of people like the current ward system, but with way that SE has their servers set up, it just doesn't work and a lot of people are getting screwed out of a portion of the game.
out of 200 New players? given how housing is now, I'd guess maybe 1, at best, would get a house.
