White text on white background in Quest Journal

Not sure why this is a thing. Am I the only one that has trouble reading the white text on the white background? Is there a way to change the color of that text so it isn't white on white? If not, can we get an option to change that text color to something else other than white on white? A bit more contrast would be grand.

I've been thinking about that for a while, myself. That white text really is hard to read and there are times when I've actually had to guess what it says. Having the option to change it would be great

The text on the DoH leves in the journal is much worse. Smaller font, and they use it for the one thing that matters on the page. You need to craft a widget, and take it to a trader.

The place that bugs me isn't the journal so much as the map. There it's white on a pale cream color without even the benefit of an outline. (The worst part is the one pixel thick white crosshair that we're supposed to use to select things there. It's nearly impossible to see.)
