Considering Shinryu's just going to get slaughtered over and over again by WoLs looking for weapons/orchestrion/scales/mount drops, "worm" might fit in fairly well.
I kid.

This still hasn't been fixed?

I get the impression the "worm" term refers to the nature of both Shinryu and Zenos, especially when they fight as one.
Their actions are definitely are not seen in a high regard as they are really destructive.

I sincerely would prefer for the localization team to use more common usage terms in this cases instead oif trying to sound clever for reasons unknown.
I mean, cool you reserearched for an old way of saying wyrm, but aside the fact that it should be considered wrong eitherway since shinryu, bahamut and co have wings, I think a localization should also be consistent in between languages and easy to read.
While the names of the various dragons fough is nice to be something found in folklore I belive that termynology should be as clear as possible for majority of ppl and easy to recognize
I've read about this, but I still don't understand why they used worm instead of Wyrm.
And for a second I saw your icon as haurchefant...
This is especially weird considering "wyrm" is used ingame already, notably in the "Dreadwyrm Set".

Has this been fixed??

Nothing to be fixed about it. Worm is essentially a "modern" version of Wyrm (even if usually used for dragons without wings.) and the ENG Localization team decided to go with it. Hell if your WoL doesn't like Zenos you could consider it an insult, or even an insult from the Mistral to him as well.

But it's inconsistent with literally every other instance of a dragon being referred to as a "Wyrm". Can we get some clarification from the localization team?

Still surprised this hasn't been fixed yet...
