Positivity about housing!

My FC saved money for months. I practiced running from the ferry to the plot we wanted WITH SOMEONE TIMING ME to get my time down as low as I possibly could. I woke up at 4AM, a full hour before the servers came up, to make sure that I had enough caffeine in me, and the patch downloaded. Computer and router restarted beforehand. Hit "Login" RIGHT when the servers opened, aaaaaaaaaaand...

Lobby error. Game crashed completely. Had to log back in from scratch, and by the time I got in, all the mansions were gone.

I did everything right, and a failure of the game cost my FC our mansion. Don't you tell me to be positive. This is unacceptable, and frankly, you're just here to rub people's noses in your good luck.

No, it wasn't. I'm trying to bring some positivity on the situations on the forums in the sea of negative posts. I never intended to brag.

I don't think you're bragging but it's a very delicate matter. If you check all the people complaining, creating threads, extremely frustrated, annoyed and upset at SE, you'd think that creating a thread stating "Hey, I got my house!" it probably won't be the best choice. It's like rubbing salt on an open wound. If we want to bring positivity, why not talk about the other content? Ivalice, glamour, dungeons, squadrons, etc. As for now, the whole housing subject is a shitshow.

If that's your intent, then you seriously need to learn there's a proper time for things, give people a few days to vent their very legitimate frustrations, then if things remain negative try to steer it to a positive way. Making this thread right as the problem arises just makes it seem like you're doing this to mock them because you got benefit and they didn't, telling them that their concerns aren't valid and they should move on.

Agreed, Imagine if there was an earthquake and your house was destroyed and one guy comes up and be like " hey let's try not to be negative at least mine didn't, lets try to be positive". I mean sure you can be positive because it went your way, but for the vast majority of us it did not. Like Merry mentioned some of us had to deal with the stress of sleepless night because the FC's house solely depends on the luck of that one person buying it.

I sincerely don't mean too and it sucks for the people who didn't get their plot. I honestly believe SE should throw in atleast three or four times the amount of wards in, I'm sure their billion dollar budget could afford it. Did you get a plot yourself?
