The proper way of dealing with the small tonberries is to kill them, yes.

However, the bigger tonberries that slowly move to the center are not supposed to be killed. They act as a sort-of enrage timer, where you have to kill the boss before they get to the center and start shanking. The tank AI will still try to go for those (at least mine did).

They specifically said when announced that on day 1 the NPC's are going to do DUMB things , using the EXACT example that they'd gather ALL the tonberries and get stabbed to death. You need to run the lowbies a few times or train them so they get the newer commands.

    Agree on this 100%.

As a healer, if I'm going to MT anyway, I wish I could just bring 3 dps.

Can't use the same logic for Hatalia though. . . Which is the first dungoen. The ever so smart Tank AI will run up flame adds causing them to get in contact with the boss quicker thus causing you to get hit by the AOE. Oh and the ever so smart Tank will refuse to get off the Boss during the invulnerability phase and stand in the AOE DoT and die if you aren't paying attention.

It's rather obvious annoying things that definitely hamper the experience.

Not a whole lot of reason to run Wanderer's Palace anyway.

The player xp is bad because it's an endcap dungeon. In exchange you get a small handful of poetics.
Squaddies don't get any better xp return or gc seal efficiency - it's always 3xp per 1 GC seal spent. In terms of time, WP takes around 17 minutes to run (assuming you tank). Stone Vigil only takes maybe 13-14. So 7500xp in 17 minutes vs. 6000xp in 14, not much different.
The treasure is a little better I guess? but if you wanted relic items you may as well unsync it in a fraction of time.

When I ran Stone Vigil the healer kept taking damage from the dragon breath cleave in the last boss, and she never healed herself until she died :')

btw they are rude. I have try to /wave them and use autotranslate "hello" but no answer.
That was like running dungeons with newbies. That was painful but funny how the AI tried to handle some stuff heh. I'll train them well!

Clean everything before any nerf is my goal. No matter the time needed to reach the last hp and beat it.

My GLD is up to Independent and Defensive 3 so far and Balance 2 and no matter what I set her on she still tries to gather all the adds and still can't hold hate and still stands in AoEs. She doesn't seem to want to unlock a tier 4 for me to see if that changes things, but I'm not holding my breath. Spamming Engage is not something we should have to do. If I am their commander, and I order them to Engage, they really ought to listen. Especially if they're stupid enough to wait for me to tell them to move out of poison. "Samus, I'm authorizing the use of your Varia Suit!"

My healer is also Independent 3, and Defensive 3, and she still is really bad at healing. I just unlocked Balanced so I'll try that tomorrow and see.

Because of ai and how they work I started out as healer, figuring I could at the very least, keep the party alive when things went down. My party has been GLD, Me CNJ/whm, THM, and LNC.

I have no problems with the tank AI other than getting him to avoid standing in aoe[along with the rest of the party] but maybe that is because I am healer. As for Wander palace, I was weary the moment the giant tonberry came after us because I was not certain how to keep the party away from it but he went for me instead so I will retry it later, I had to stop because maintenance today.

So far its going well as I go healer but I need to figure out how to keep the party out of aoes like ice dot and fire dot aoe in SV. The drg seems to make attempts to avoid aoe but the tank just doesn't so I heal through it as much as possible.

The THM spams Lucid Dreaming and keeps it always on cd so he occasionally gets hate but the tank immediately pulls it off.

I keep my tank on independent, my thm is on defensive or offensive, lnc is on independent and I am still under 10 runs so far but I like it a lot!
