Painting exteriors.......

Um, excuse me but what is this!?



I decided on this exterior thinking I could dye it a different color, other than red which I don't care for. But lo and behold........the "walls" just lets you color the mini awnings which I would have thought should have been included under the roof.

What gives? :'( Is this an error or something or is it like this on all housing?

(PS, I am truly sorry to all of you who were unable to get housing. That was incredibly brutal and even on Zalera, the smallest pop NA server, all of the large/medium houses were snapped up within 10 minutes!)

We have a different exterior and it's the same, only the tiled parts dye. Our old Goblet house was limited in a similar way.

The red on yours looks amazing, though.

It's not an error, unfortunately there's usually one of the three exteriors that takes well to color. I'm not sure if the other exteriors do for Shirogane do, but maybe stroll around the wards and see which houses really have color to them and then try to find the corresponding exterior for your house.

Looks as though all three are tiles-only for Shirogane, at least for mansions. We have the stone-effect one and it's like that, and I just found a wood-style one which seems to be the same.

Wow, that's really unfortunate! :'( I loved how regal this exterior looked but the red color makes it look too Chinese-Restauranty for my tastes. hahahaha.
Oh well. I guess I'll take your suggestion, Dustytome, and stroll around my ward.
