    4.1 npc text scaling

    Before this patch, we had the ability to click on the dialogue box, and resize it each time we logged in. For those of us with bad eyes, this was a blessing. Don't know if it's an error or what, but we're unable to resize that tiny text box now. I don't want to start my msq because I can't see what they're saying!

    Please help us, fix this!

    agreed. no idea why they removed the contextual menu to increase the size.
    only way now is to scale the whole hud up but that just makes everything big which is no good.

    It was annoying even that we had to resize it every single time we logged in and it wasn't an option in our HUD to begin with (hinthint SE do this?). But to remove it is kind of crippling to the ones that can't read itty bitty text...

    Just gonna keep bumping this so it doesn't get lost in 75 threads about the same thing x.x

    But making everything giant is so hideous and clutters my screen. Bugger.

    Yeah, now it's either sit REALLY close to the tv anytime I have to read something or change everything so big it's a flippin mess... not to mention changing that in sys config unfortunately is an account-wide change... real nice for my husband when he plays cause he can see just fine normally :/

    Wait, you could adjust the NPC dialogue boxes before? I did not know this!! I've had to sit up closer to the TV every time I wanted to read what was being said...

    Well hopefully they'll fix it so we can once again do this, cause I really hate having to sit so close to the tv just to read what's going on ><

    Also, baby tonberry just made my day a bit brighter <3

    Tonberries in general brighten my day... Except when I'm being stabbed by one, that is. But in any case, yes I would definitely like to be ale to use that feature.

    The option "Enlarge system UI" has been added under "User Interface Size."
    This setting is only available when User Interface Size is set to 100%.
    Enabling this setting will allow players to restore the size of UI elements such as the main menu and chat log window to that of patch 3.57.
    Restoring UI elements to patch 3.57 sizes.

    1. Under User Interface Size select 100% and check the box Enlarge System UI.
    2. Under Default UI Size set Default Size to 140% and apply changes to all UI components.

    It's posted with pictures here in the patch notes, but it's a quirk with the resolution changes that came with Stormblood.
