wow SE you really failed on this housing thing. 6 months of build up, you would think the load would have been bigger.... I am highly disappointed, I expected more from this franchise. I haven't played since week 4 of Omega due to lack of content. You guys should really be looking into a way to where every player has an equal chance to get any size of house they want on any plot. Not having access to certain aspects of the game is really unappealing. There are so many examples of housing in other games that work, its time you guys get with the program. All words sold out in 3min was a huge ball drop. you guys should have gave at least 2 hours for everyone to get logged in then opened it. YOUR SERVERS CREATE BOTTLENECKS, but you guys already know this. Tisk Tisk SE....

Yeah that's what annoy me most with this patch. People keep saying that salt is useless because it's optionnal content. But yeah, since it's optionnal content, they shouldn't tease all their community since the fan festivals. What is the point of teasing a feature for months like it's a big deal if not everybody can enjoy it? SE's way of marketting has been shaddy for a while anyway. Stormblood marketting itself was disppointing.

Or how about even fixing their damn launcher to function AT ALL when under heavy load. It makes absolutely zero sense to me. What does the launcher have to do with anything besides the update server and your personal client? The log in button wouldn't work for 3+ minutes for me and then it crashed entirely. Didn't even get to see a single open house.

lol everything is optimal outside of MSQ, meaning hosuing has as much right as gathering/leveling other classes and PvP.

Everything do is optionnal, you play depending your envy. But even if everything is optionnal, you can get to it whenever you put motivation in it. It is not the case for housing, you can put as much motivation as you want in it you may never enjoy it.

Is it bad? Yes. Do they care? Apparently not because this isn't the first time.

But was this expected? Yes. Everyone knew that the game's poor housing implementation combined with weak login servers meant getting a house would be a gamble. I understand the disappointment, but sadly we all knew what was going to happen as soon as we heard that there would be new wards :/

This ^^^^^ I think this is one of the few people who get it. This has been the way it has been since the advent of personal housing DAY ONE!

Knowing their current system is troublesome is no excuse for them not improving it. We should stop enabling bad service.

They've literally had years to address this problem but haven't. That's the real disappointing thing about it.
