You can't tell them where to stand, which results in the healer just standing there while the tonberry stalker stabs her to death. If the healer dies to that (she will), you can't tell it to release, and you can't raise it yourself unless you happen to be playing summoner. So you just wind up with a party full of NPCs watching the dead healer derp all over the ground until you finally give up and abandon the duty.

If i'm not mistaken, there's a use item that can revive squadron members. I got one as a reward from a mission, and I think you can buy them with seals, too.

Can't deny that the healer AI sucks, though.
