If we can move past the turd talk and go ahead and state the real problem. The system is being manipulated. There are people that had entire systems put in place for lunch so as to buy up every plot they could and resell. How do you recognize and ban them? They aren't advertising. The people saying they will buy a LG plot of land for 400 mil is doing the only required advertising.

Set a cap on houses per server for an account. That will make it significantly more expensive to to hoard everything in site.

Although honestly, the houses were gone so fast today that I'm not sure how many any one person could have bought even if they had 10 alts with the money lined up and ready to go.

Most of it was people who had already levelled up an alt and gave them money, and who already had a house elsewhere on the server. Rather than relocate to the new ward and give up their own house for someone else, they just grabbed an additional house and called it good.

Only....Scalpers are breaking the ToS. It should be stopped, not seen as an alternative method.

Well realistically it's either that or wait for SE to release more housing that you won't be able to grab. Choice is up to you.

Alternatively, get a FC room or an apartment and enjoy nearly everything housing has to offer anyway.

I agree instanced housing is shitty. I like being able to see all my neighbors.

I also agree that more wards should be added and houses should be limited to 1 per service account.

I wish it were that easy. I'm on Leviathan, got up at 5am and updated, signed in the second the servers came up, and all of the houses were gone by the time I got through the queue to login. I have a small house already that we got in 2013 but was really hoping for an upgrade to a medium or large. No such luck.

I can't just move to another server or I would. My friends are here and we came from FFXI together and have now played together for over 12 years. I really can't leave them, it would break my heart.

What makes me angry about the whole thing is the people on my server who are selling the plots for 200 mil + . That is something that should be stopped. Make housing one per account. While that won't fix everything it will at least open up a few places.

That said, I don't want instanced housing at all. I love my neighborhood and most of my neighbors are cool. Take some of this money from mogstation purchases and upgrade the servers so we can have more wards!

following the same logic, Your sub should also guarantee your relic weapon, end raid gear, all mounts, prizes and everything avaiable in the game since you pay the same subscription as those who have all these things.

I want relic weapon? i go farm it, and i get it. I dont have any from HW because didnt want to farm, not because couldnt farm.
I want end game gear ? i go in a static, i left my static to get more time left, else, i would now in tries on O4S and not far from the kill.

Everyone CAN have these, if they move for. there isnt a matter of "i cant play when i am at work"

Housing? people that cant go ingame in the second the servers opens CANT HOPE to get a small house. even if they have the money to buy 10 large house, they cant hope to buy a small.
Because they are at work/school for example.

Those who bought house are those who can connect in the good time to buy some. I would be ok with you if people could buy now but... there is no more house in any server.


SE just saying "it is bad to sell back house for 10 time prices you bought it" ... wtf? they create a systeme that incite this. What is rare with a fix price will be bought to be sold back with really higher price...
Just see limited edition, or collector edition on ebay...
They do a system really rare, low offer, high demand. And... they are surprised people do this?

Same Sub, so, the possibility to access the SAME content to everyone. NOT giving the same content, juste allowing everyone to access...
But for housing, all pay sub, only some are allowed to access housing...

1 FC, 30 house. no matter...


1 have 2 account, 1 on each. I bought them long time ago (when they added annexes area). and i would hardly move (really love the place where i am) i hopped a third house yes i admit (with "personnal" FC) and didnt have it. but doesnt really matter... 3 room in FC house, 2 house, and can go to 4 more room with apartment system, if i need for my roleplay... But, not because i have a good situation, i can think the system is good... I am a lucky guy, and i would like to be a normal one!

Your monthly sub grants you the ability to login. Nothing more.

So what you're saying is, as long as I can login I can't complain? Even if I can't enjoy what the game offers.

I'm just surprised people didn't see this outcome but... why not let them vent a bit? It's not like the devs didn't see this outcome. I'd like to think they are pretty smart people even if they haven't solved this housing thing yet. I'm sure they'd rather people vent too and get it out of their system.

This is a game.

And games are supposed to be fun. Housing is a lot of fun many people don't get the chance to explore.

Your post is one of the weakest defenses for the current housing system I have ever seen.
