Your 2 cents are worth as much as everyone else's. People have every right to complain about stuff they don't like. And they're doing it in the right section of the right forum. Things aren't going to change if nobody says anything. They might not change even if people DO complain, but they sure as hell won't if everyone pretends it's fine.

It's extremely in poor taste to be overly reductive about "pixel house" and "it's a game." There are features locked behind housing, that a large majority of the people cannot access. And in no way was your post in "defense of housing." Because you did no defending of the housing system. You're just attacking people who are unhappy about it.

Furthermore, the housing is screwed even in low housing servers, so....? And a lot of people got screwed by a shoddy launcher that broke minutes before the patch went live and resolved ~5 minutes after, so they had no chance even before the "1000 person queue."

Let me start by telling you that your statement is ignorant, because even if everyone did heed your advice and transferred off, there still wouldn't be enough housing.
I said it in another thread, but I'll do the math for you as well. 60 plots per ward, 12 wards per district, 4 districts per server, 66 servers -> 190k houses total. The last unofficial census had 400k characters at 70 total, over 600k eligible for housing and then you also have to account for FCs as well.

It doesn't work, it cannot work and you are spouting nonsense. No amount of transferring can solve the housing shortage, there simply isn't enough there.

You're working on the assumption that there's meant to be enough housing for literally every player to have a house waiting for them as soon as they have the gil. Housing is deliberately scarce because it's intended to be a rare commodity.

You can simply go get enough gil to buy off one of the scalpers. It's really not that hard.

Only....Scalpers are breaking the ToS. It should be stopped, not seen as an alternative method.

Well it does actually guarantee you access to all of those things. It's not like only 2000 people on a given server are allowed to have a relic weapon or go on raids.
