I'm assuming that it's probably similar on other servers, but on Coeurl, I think a grand total of 20 of the housing plots in Shirogane went to FCs. The overwhelming majority went to individual players, with probably half of those players intending to flip the house for a profit.

Given that FCs routinely band together to raise money for things like houses, and given that such an investment represents more than just the time and effort of a single individual, you'd think SE would realize this and give FCs the first shot at housing. Maybe even open a few new wards in all the housing areas just for FCs. Maybe, I dunno, have some GMs that are sitting around watching for people flipping houses and banning them immediately, instead of hoping people will report them instead of caving in to their demands. But I don't think any of that's going to happen. It's hard to build a sense of community in a game when the gaming communities in the game are given such a low priority compared to those who want to abuse their fellow gamers.

No FCs are not more important than individuals, we all need the houses for the benefits they give. If FCs got first shot then there wouldn't be any plots left for individuals to get. Everyone had the same chance at the houses.

Privately owned housing has benefits? Last I checked FC's need housing for workshop, airships, fc buffs, and gardening, personal just has gardening... which they can easily fix by either adding some kind of indoor planters that work just like the outdoor gardens for all seeds or adding a balcony/garden to apartments... seriously FC's really should of gotten 1st shot on housing...

Yes how about the garden plots, why should FCs be the only ones who can garden. The apartments do not have a community garden for the players to use.

Except if FCs are given first shot at housing, that benefits more individuals than a single one (except in those few cases of solo FCs). So really, they're not really equal in importance, are they? You're comparing the importance of one individual with that of three+, which is kind of... inflated and egotistical, isn't it? O.o

It's beating a dead horse at this point but here let me pick up a club because that horse deserves to be beaten like a pinata at a kid's party. At this point, they should have had a special FC section, then a special individual section. They could have done that this time around, but they didn't. And the worst part is, they won't. This is it, kids. This is all we get.

FC;s are more important than individuals. houses have airship features ONLY ACCESSIBLE TO FC's and are meant for community purposes.... housing should be restricted to FC only just like the ARR days and individuals can purchase apartments. 85% of purchased houses on Cerberus for example were bought by individuals.... What if... and there's a big IF, people want to buy a house for themselves and want to keep it for themselves, because they like housing too?So what if they're not FC owners, they pay the same money as you do. Sure there will be flippers, but nowhere near half the amount of private buyers.

Give a few months. You might not find a house on shirogane, but you'll get one, if you keep looking, and YES i am going to say, check reddit. You can find great deals on there amoungst all of the BS outrageous prices. If i can find a house within a week of transferring servers for a very good price (6-8 mill for a small/12-16 for medium), wtf is taking all you people so long?

I wouldn't have a problem with individuals owning houses, but I'm pretty sure a large portion of those individuals are alt accounts. I've heard people bragging about how many alts they have and how many houses they have.

Seriously. One per account, please. This should have been a no brainer.

That said, I think individual / FC purchase is about 75-25, at first glance, on Cerb. It's not TOO bad, but again; pretty sure a lot of them are alts.
