A lot of people aren't upset over that. They're upset over the fact log in errors are what caused them to lose even a slight opportunity. Numerous posts here have specifically said they either got a 5006 error or 90k'd after logging in. Basically, things entirely out of their control.

I see that makes a bit more sense , hmm sounds familiar coming from this game, errors and stuff on release tend to always happen that is pretty unfortunate. But I hope even if some couldnt get housing in the new area maybe some where able to pick up old houses in the older wards. But housing seems to have been a crisis this whole games lifespan so I cant be surprised its truely a game of luck which sucks for alot of people.

this is exactly what happened to me, i couldnt log in for 25minutes even though i could log in right after the servers went up, got in queue was 108 and at the loading screen to get into the game i got world data error thing and this lasted 25minutes!

What do you want to hear from devs? That less than 10% stayed sub in past 4 years? I agree they need a dedicated server for normal housing.
There's absolutely no reason for normal housing to be instanced, there's already a system in placed called apartments.
Be happy with it or suggest ways to improve it. Don't break entirely another system, it's not broken at all. It's same thing as calling raids as dungeons.

I don't agree in the slightest SE needs to release a statement regards housing. Its established this is the system we have, despite its many flaws, and people by now should be well aware of that. I would love to see it changed to instanced housing lots with a single community ward with activities in it, however I doubt we will ever see the system change after the resources invested in what we have.

Its optional content some people will have to live without unfortunately.
