If they can't crack down on people flipping, and if they can't add immensely more wards to the system to support the playerbase, then instances are what we need. Sorry, not sorry.

Not long ago I watched a recent video of a guy exploring FFXIV for the very first time. After spending some time exploring the housing wards he commented that it was "the best housing he had ever seen."

And perhaps that is true... if you don't look beyond the surface. In reality, the current system is highly impractical.

Needs to be better handled. I had a house early on when personals came along because I was ready and hopeful for its release. Saved up enough with me and 1 friend to try to get our small house to a large. Not even a chance in shirogane much less older locations. After all not like many had to give up their space.

Either it needs to get a steady stream of housing wards built up between patches for the subs you guys have that stick around after this, or something needs to be revamped like seperation between personal and FC at the least without needing to add more wards but still “double” the housing.

Sorry for any errors in my writing I was up all night to try for this to only get shut down in under 25 mins in diabolos and having some people act horribly such as the very first 1 laughing at me because I check for the house. Damn me for trying people. Feel the salt SE, feel the salt.

I find it pretty frustrating too... could only connect an hour after maintenance due to slow internet in downloading the patch... and after having beforehand struggled with the version check bug !
Heard from FC mates that managed to login earlier that all lots were gone in less than 10 minutes

Aside from buying more servers to hold the charge, I dont understand why they wont add more wards ?
Also for slower connections, why not allow patch download during maintenance, or make some kind of patch predownloading functionnality ?
We wont be able to ever beat people on 100Mb internet, downloading the patch in less than 10 minutes !
