Agreed. The lobby thing wasn't my problem, it was me having to download 24,000 MB for the patch, while other people got a normal 1400. Whether that was on SE or PS4, it doesnt matter. The houses on Fairie still sold out in minutes, from what I heard. I took all my gil off my retainers, in high spirits, and excitedness, to finally move. And not only move, but upgrade to a Medium. That was quickly smashed to bits. That and the fact that I hate how the Kugane sightseeing logs are impossible to get to(which is a whole other matter altogether), meaning I will never be able to finish it, just left me wanting to quit the game for awhile. And I logged out soon after that. I don't know when I will be back, to be honest.

My FC worked very hard for months to make enough gil for a medium house. There is none available.
I woke up at 5:00 AM today to secure a plot, but the disappointment is too big for all of us.

This housing thing, especially on Balmung, is unforgivable. The fact that I waited all night until 6am EST, clicked the play button the SECOND 6:00am rolled around, got KICKED FROM THE LOBBY, then stuck in a 2,400 person queue, and thus never even had a CHANCE at getting housing, is beyond unacceptable to me.

The housing situation is atrocious, I agree. However, if it really means that much to you - you *could* have moved to a less populous server rather then stay on the by far largest population one...
Also, the servers actually went up @ 2:59:30 or so? It definitely was not 3:00:00 when my GF and I saw the play button appear after refreshing our launcher when it struck 2:59 (it took a bit to refresh...)

Less populous servers got Shirogane sold out less than 15-20 minutes.

I have a feeling this might be a gamebreaking moment for a lot of FCs. I mean, who wants to do this song and dance over and over, with no real solution to the problem in sight? How sorry is SE, that they are only compounding the problem and not fixing it for years on end?

yeah its the 3rd dance now? same old sht. get screwed when new plots come cuz nolifes snipe it within SECONDS...yes SECONDS. b4 u log in they already got it. cuz depending on where u are in the world is key. if u are in japan....u will prob be on b4 an American. JUST SAYING. ur location is everything. example. all my western friends cudnt log into shirogane today because the connection w/e u wana call it was blocked for a good 5 min. by the time everyone got on. every ward GONE. 2-6 min ish GONE........12 wards...x 60 houses GONE in minutes .....I mean really? SE get ur sht together

I cannot express how upset I am over missing out personally, but I also feel REALLY bad for you guys with FCs who missed out. That is even worse because housing is such a core feature of FC life, and to not even get a CHANCE at it? Well, I think my title for this thread sums it up.
