This housing thing, especially on Balmung, is unforgivable. The fact that I waited all night until 6am EST, clicked the play button the SECOND 6:00am rolled around, got KICKED FROM THE LOBBY, then stuck in a 2,400 person queue, and thus never even had a CHANCE at getting housing, is beyond unacceptable to me.

I waited a year for this, did everything I could, and it didn't matter a tiny bit. The housing problem in this game, especially on this server, is insanely out of control. I may actually leave this game over it honestly, and I doubt quite seriously I am the only one who feels that way.

Terrible job SE, you guys deserve to lose big on this one.

yeah same here. the only good graphic mmo atm is ff14. ff14 is by no means a bad mmo. its the ONLY good mmo atm. lack of selection. if a new WOW or RS came out. id go to that asap. se is a sht company. they make sht games. sht console games. sht staff. sht leader. ff14 is decent thou. I stay for the housing. but the housing is rigged cuz their servers crashed in certain areas. and fcs/other organized groups bought the houses in many dif worlds. (prob blk marketers) or just asses idk. w/e cud care less

And that, right there, is the problem. They're a business. You're a customer. You're free to shop around. You expect too much on your end. Money talks. If you're not happy with a service, voice your displeasure. How many years has the housing situation been an issue? Enough to know it won't change.

If you want FF14, play FF14. You want housing, play The Sims or damn well get lucky on a dice roll in getting a house.

What loyalty? The amount of boycotts I've seen that ends up getting them more money than they've dreamed of...

Wholly agreed Cyrillus, I enjoyed the game from the start of stormblood and was working incredibly hard to save up money for an FC. In reality without the hope of having a house for my friends and I there is next to nothing keeping me around. I am incredibly disheartened and while I enjoy the rest of the game I don't even wanna play the (insanely small amount of) new content they added. I could honestly care less about it. It blows my mind that housing was historically an abomination in this game and they CHANGED NOTHING ABOUT IT and decided it was cool to release a whole new plot.
