Thats exacly what happen to me, but not to the people that actually could buy a house . A nice and fair system. SE enjoy reading I'm said and disappointed!!! I know you guys love it
to be fair that is the only way you can actually share a house with your own alts... they need to fix that. it is also the only way to give items to your alts without the use of a middle man...another glaring issue.
it would be much more familiar when only FC can have houses. For single Player are Apartments. I mean to have everDay neighbour instead of empty house would be much more fun.

On Gilgamesh there was a guy selling a small house for 450 million gil.......... and someone bought it
i have a pretty low spec pc, no ssd, and 5.500km distance to Tonberry- the most congested server.
and i got 2 houses lol.

My FC leader lives right by the data centers, just installed a SSD into her PC and has a really good wired internet connection. She also planned out the backup mansions and choose a ward that was not one of the first ones. She even practiced the best route to the house.
Yet, we were unable to get a FC mansion or even a medium house on Brynhildr, one of the preferred worlds, as she got a lobby error when she was in queue. She also stayed up to download the patch early.
A lot of the housing situation today was RNG. It's not that people didn't plan out or didn't "have backup houses" so please stop blaming the folks who had bad luck.
On the other hand, stop thinking that "you have to live close to the datacenter, play on an awesome computer and have a SSD" is the solution to all your problems. Many people living close/ far to the data centers with/without SSD drives and with/without good internet connection planned to get houses and had backups. They were unable to today due to rng

It is crazy that they have this policy that they want them to be exclusive so they limit the total amount of plots but don't limit the number per account so one person can have multiples while some have none. If they really want it to be exclusive make them ridiculously expensive but don't have the limiting factor be whether or not you can login the moment servers are up and are able to win the queue battle

They once did that for 2.1 release where Balmung and Gilgamesh servers cost 320 million for Large, and 120 for Medium and 50 for Small. The developers apologized and then later lowered the price down by a lot where large was 80 and so forth. It is crazy that they have this policy that they want them to be exclusive so they limit the total amount of plots but don't limit the number per account so one person can have multiples while some have none. Agreed, if they were going to limit it, I wish they would make it something like: You can own 2 houses (1 personal, 1 FC) per server per account. So your alt on leviathan can get a house (for those people who actually play on two characters and don't use alts for market board shenanigans). I'm sure folks would complain if SE locked it to 2 houses per account. It is crazy that they have this policy that they want them to be exclusive so they limit the total amount of plots but don't limit the number per account so one person can have multiples while some have none.
