Allow to properly buy and sell houses from the MB. I'm sure a lot of people get bored of having a house eventually and want to sell it, the only reason most people keep it is because they know they'll have a hard time getting another one.

That's a bad comparison because the supply/demand is completely different. Items are infinite.

Might not be the best solution, because people could take advantage to make profit yeah, but you guys wouldn't want it over what we have now?

easy, was said countless time:

House reserved to FC Only! appartement get 2 other size for people only.... problem solved!

without forget 1 house owned per account will have solved a lot of trouble, without forget an absolut rule, you purchase a house for resell it, you are banned definitivly.

Or just have all houses on a one week auction and highest bidder wins it. They may need to raise the gil cap for this though, I know a lot of people who are capped.

Yes it will price a lot of people out, but even the highest prices this time were ridiculously cheap.

Another way to solve it is get rid of neighborhoods and just make the system instanced. Many other MMOs do this just fine. As it stands right now, there is only 2,880 plots per server. That's BS for many servers.

Except the neighborhoods are what make FFXIV's housing system stand out. Who cares how cool your house is when it exists in a pocket dimension that only you and your close friends know about? How does that encourage a sense of community?
