There was a message before about "due to housing, servers will not go live until 3:00AM"

Even if it does, in game refreshes are typically a bit slow. I'll be logging in when it's close to time personally...

I have never seen it turn green during maintenance, I've only seen it switch to green when the servers are ready, and that is after restarting the launcher. Often the first clue is to refresh the forum looking for the guy who says "SERVER'S UP"

Yes, that button will be greyed out until maint is done. That will not be until roughly 3:00 am pdt. Due to housing they stated the server will not go live early so you've got about an hour and a half to nap before the rush starts.

Instead of exiting the client completely, you should be able to click on the worlds symbol (checking server status) and the play button should turn green, when the servers are up. Alternatively, restart the client.:/

If you click on any of the bottom buttons or news hyperlinks (I typically click on the server status icon) and then go back it will refresh the launcher, turning the play button green
