    "Unable to perform version check."

    This happens when I type in my log-in info to try and download the new patch. Anyone else getting this garbage?



    The housing in this game already has me in a foul mood with how hellish it is please at least give me an equal chance at the lottery sqenix...

    That fix didn't work for PC, Square why you do this. I shouldn't have to reinstall the entire game just to update.

    Check how much space you have on your harddrive. Make sure there's over 2 GIGS of space available.

    Okay, that didn't work for me.
    The reddit post that was posted here has a fix.
    Some guy posted an older launcher boot info to a dropbox. Find that, DL it.
    BACK UP your files in a different folder, JUST IN CASE.
    You'll notice the older files are WAY old. 2013.
    This forces the client to upgrade itself fully.

    Since it's worked for some PC users.... maybe try fully restarting the system.
