See if this wasn't a grind mobs based game then it wouldn't go so fast. Comparing it to most quest to cap games it would be on the player how fast they got to cap.

yes please. lets slow it down, nothing is more fun then killing thousands of raptors over and over.

Slow it down for what? People still won't buy overpriced gear. still no content to do. The problem is there is no progression in place and until they put that in. Slowing the leveling down will not do anything.

To put it nicely the only reason you level so fast is because that is all there is to do. So slowing it down will do nothing but make it longer to get to actual content.

Edit: also most the people who will most likely be staying already have 50s so until 2.0 Probably be best to stick to high level content > low level

bringing up FFXI again, but thats one thing they did quite well, gear that was lower level, at least some pieces could be used for LONG stretches, or even until endgame. Though it creates tons of demand and possibly RMT, i still love the fact that there was plenty of stuff you could use for so many levels or all the way.

So you claim there is nothing to do. Yet you don't want to level all classes to 50. But you want them to slow leveling down to give you something to do? such great logic.

Anyway The people who want something to do are the ones out doing stuff. the people who don't want to do anything are the people who stand around in towns staring at their screen like idiots. I mean Why even log in if all you are going to do is stand in town? Do I want low level content and things that will slow leveling down? yes. But to slow leveling down (give lower exp) just to give people something to do is just stupid.
